One of our signature ranges, the Shashiko collection features colourful stitching inspired by traditional Japanese embroidery. 

Crafted from the highest quality 320-thread-count 100% Egyptian cotton percale, it is hand-embroidered with double rows of cross-stitch and pulled thread hemstitch borders, creating a highly intricate design. This superior quality cotton combines a soft, silky-smooth feel with the crispness and durability of a percale weave.

Every set comes with one duvet cover and two pillow cases.

The Details

Our Technique

This piece is crafted with the artistry of hand embroidery, where each stitch is placed with care to bring texture and detail to the fabric. It is finished with ajour, a delicate openwork technique that draws airy, lace-like patterns into the cloth, turning it into something both refined and timeless.

Our Artisans

This product is hand embroidered by the talented women artisans of Threads of Hope (TOH). TOH is a training and production center for underserved women and refugees, specializing in embroidery, ajour, cross-stitch, hand painting, and natural dyeing. Producing around 7,000 handcrafted pieces monthly, TOH provides meaningful work opportunities to approximately 300 women. After completing a two-month training program, women work from the comfort of their homes, enabling them to care for their children while contributing to their families' livelihoods.

Our Care Instructions

To preserve the quality and beauty of your piece, wash similar colours together with a colour-safe detergent for coloured items. For whites, use non-chlorine bleach only. Avoid soaking, and be sure to remove promptly from the washing machine and tumble dryer. Reshape and iron while still damp to maintain its form. To care for both your garment and the planet, save energy by washing at 30°C.
