The Feather Pencil Case is crafted by hand using the intricate embroidery technique, a traditional art passed down through generations. Each piece is naturally dyed and handmade with care and precision, resulting in slight, beautiful variations in pattern, stitch alignment, and color—a true testament to its authenticity and the skilled hands behind its creation.

Our Artisans

The Feather Pencil Case is hand embroidered by the talented women artisans of Threads of Hope (TOH) using natural dye. TOH is a training and production center for underserved women and refugees, specializing in embroidery, ajour, cross-stitch, hand painting, and natural dyeing. Producing around 7,000 handcrafted pieces monthly, TOH provides meaningful work opportunities to approximately 300 women. After completing a two-month training program, women work from the comfort of their homes, enabling them to care for their children while contributing to their families' livelihoods.

Our Care Instructions

Use non-chlorine bleach if necessary to preserve its charm. Once washed, allow it to dry fully before ironing. For deeper cleaning, the pouch may be professionally dry cleaned.
